The Milborne Velvet, Baker Lifestyle (£29.50 per metre)
Earlier this year GP & J Baker launched their new Baker Lifestyle collection. The Notebooks Collections is made up of eight multi-purpose, washable fabrics that are both easy to coordinate and extremely durable. Milborne is a high-performance velvet suitable for both contract and domestic upholstery with a Martindale rating of over 50,000. It comes in an impressive range of 30 colourways and can be washed at 30 degrees, making it ideal for use in family homes or for large-scale commercial projects. Inspired by the natural wilds of Scotland, this velvet comes from renowned Glasgow design powerhouse Timorous Beasties.
